How Do You Make Carne Asada Fries?
To make carne asada fries, you will first need to make carne asada. You can use my recipe for tender, flavorful carne asada. For the fries, place them on a sheet pan or baking sheet and bake them until hot and golden brown. Slice cooked carne asada against the grain and cut it into bite sized pieces. Place the baked fries in a skillet or baking dish. Arrange shredded cheese and cubes of steak over the fries. Bake the fries until the cheese melts. Serve the fries with toppings like guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, cilantro, sour cream and lime wedges.
Tips For Carne Asada Fries
Don’t use pre-shredded cheese. It often contains anti-caking agents and tends not to melt well. Chop your carne asada in to similar sized small chunks that you can eat with french fries. Pick a baking dish that can double as a serving dish to make serving the fries and clean up easier. You can make your own pico de gallo or buy your favorite pre-prepared version. You can purchase guacamole or make your own guacamole.
