Chocolate Frankenstein Cake…ok, so he may not be so scary, but I mean how cute is he? My sister, Asher told me I could not make him too scary or she might to be too scared to eat him! That could not happen, chocolate cake is her favorite!
I started with my favorite chocolate cake recipe, but you can use any cake recipe or box you like! Around here everything has to be chocolate….Vanilla, strawberry, no way, not in a house full of chocoholics! I even frosted both the inside and outside of my cake with chocolate frosting before adding my green buttercream layer! I know…..CRAZY!
Place your chocolate green frosted cake in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. This will harden the frosting up a bit so that the green frosting does not mix with the chocolate! I made my very favorite white chocolate buttercream frosting recipe. But feel free to use your favorite recipe or store-bought (it actually works better for this).
