You guys! Look what I made!
Cute little mini apple rose tarts and I am SO excited about them! For the longest time, I’ve seen those rose avocados and rose apple pies on Instagram and wondered how the heck someone could create such a beautiful thing out of food! I for sure thought there was no way I could ever make something so pretty. Well, I am still wary of the avocado roses, BUT apple roses?!? Those I can do!! Honestly, I cannot believe how simple and easy these are to make. They may seem tricky, but do not be fooled! Since I’m always looking for new and fun ways to use tortillas, I thought they’d be the perfect base for these tarts, along with a butter pecan filling, and of course apples!! Mini pecan butter apple rose tarts with only eight ingredients? Yes please! To make things easier to understand, I took some process shots of the rolling and forming of the tarts. Seriously, the trickiest part is waiting for them to bake… for real! And when they’re done, simply serve them warm with a dusting of powdered sugar. Perfection! Hope you guys are having the perfect fall Sunday… be sure to save a little time to bake up these delicious apple rose tarts!! 🙂
PS. why are mini foods always the best? Love them! {This post is sponsored by Old El Paso. Thank you for supporting the brands that keep Half Baked Harvest cooking!! }
