Today’s recipe is a simple South-Indian style Kurma using Eggs. An egg recipe after many days. The name kurma is given to a type of gravy that uses coconut. This recipe in particular is from my MIL’s kitchen and this is how she makes a simple yet very tasty egg kurma. Using over-ripe bananas has never been as easy as using it for making this delicious, super moist and soft Eggless Banana Mug Cake. We enjoy a good eggless whole wheat banana bread and ever-favorite eggless banana walnut muffins at home, with our evening tea/coffee. And equally popular and delicious is a quick and satisfying 1-minute chocolate mug cake. But using banana in a mug cake?! I assure you that it is possible to make the best tasting moist cake in a minute and it doesn’t even take 5 minutes to get the prep done....

How do you feel about the movie Frozen? Do you love it or do you wish people would just “let it go” already? My daughter Audrey is firmly in the “love” camp. She turned 2 a few weeks ago and we threw her a Frozen themed birthday party that was a big success. We also managed to keep the cost under control which is always a bonus! We went big with the twins’ birthday party back in May but I wanted to do something smaller and more low key this time around....

I have a healthy, quick no-ferment breakfast recipe made with different types of lentils and broken wheat – Godhumai Rava Adai. I love Adai, a thicker no-ferment version of the regular dosa. Adai is laid slightly thicker and cooked on a low flame until it turns really crisp at the bottom. I have shared different types of adai like Oats Adai, Kara Dosai/Adai Dosa, Murungai Keerai Adai or Ragi Adai already here and this is a variation, that doesn’t include any rice....
